The Hawaiʻi Journal of Health & Social Welfare is a monthly peer-reviewed journal with the aim of advancing knowledge about health and social welfare, with a focus on the diverse peoples and unique environments of Hawaiʻi and the Pacific region.
The lead academic partners are six units of the University of Hawaiʻi (UH) College of Health Sciences and Social Welfare. This includes the John A. Burns School of Medicine, UH Public Health, the Myron B. Thompson School of Social Work, the School of Nursing and Dental Hygiene, the UH Cancer Center, and the Daniel K. Inouye College of Pharmacy.
